Qualifications

Trainee must be a second year, 20 month, interpersonal practice student with one previous year of a practicum experience with a clinical focus.  Trainee may also be an Advanced Standing Student with previous clinical experience. Clinical experience is needed given the internship is predominantly the provision of individual counseling.

Application Process

A Goal Statement as required by the University of Michigan School of Social Work Office of Field Instruction and an updated resume to Rachel Naasko. She will review and send on to CAPS Assistant Director of Social Work Training at CAPS for consideration.

Once application materials have been received, members of the search committee will review them.

Decisions about possible next steps including an interview will be made within 2 weeks of the receipt of materials.

If you are chosen to participate in an on-site interview, you will be notified of a need to schedule an interview (which is required for placement) as soon as possible after the decision has been made.

Applicants will be informed of selection decisions within 2 weeks after interviewing.
