Qualifications and Application Process

Qualifications

Social Work trainees must have an emphasis in clinical practice.  Trainees may be an Advanced Standing Student with previous clinical experience. Clinical experience is needed given the internship is predominantly the provision of individual counseling.

Application Process

Please follow instructions from your Office of Field Education regarding applying to CAPS internship.  Materials can be sent to Ed Huebner at [email protected].

Once application materials have been received, members of the search committee will review them.

Decisions about possible next steps including an interview will be made within 2 weeks of the receipt of materials.

If you are chosen to participate in an interview, you will be notified of a need to schedule an interview (which is required for placement) as soon as possible after the decision has been made.

Applicants will be informed of selection decisions within 2 weeks after interviewing.
