Mindfulness can be an effective way to improve our overall wellness.  We would like to highlight a few videos that UM CAPS has made to help with anxiety.  

  • Here is a guided muscle relaxation video that you can listen to to relieve those tight muscles and reduce your stress that you are been building for days and  in just 24 minutes. 
  • Here is a video to guide you into being more mindful and hopefully relaxed.  This video follows the popular script, "Leaves On A Stream, written by John G Williams and John D Teasdale.
  • Here is a nice, relaxing yoga sequence designed for any level of yoga experience. It will help you calm the nervous system as well as to release stress and tension.  Give it a try.
  • Here is a guided meditation slide show.  It provides education and exercises focused on practicing mindfulness.
