U-M Counseling and Psychological Services

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides confidential psychological and psychiatric services for currently enrolled U of M undergraduate and graduate students. We strive to provide the following services in an atmosphere that is welcoming, comfortable and multi-culturally sensitive for all students. 

2018 Spring/Summer Groups at CAPS

CAPS Spring/Summer groups are open to students who are enrolled for the spring/summer semester and for graduate students with continuous enrollment. Groups require a pre-group meeting with the group facilitator(s). To schedule, email the group facilitator. Group meeting times are to be determined by member availability, unless otherwise noted.

Individual Counseling
Referral Services Sometimes what a student needs from CAPS is direction in securing services at another place on campus or in Ann Arbor.  Examples of reasons to seek referral services from CAPS:
If you are interested in scheduling a psychiatric evaluation, you must first make an Initial Consultation (IC) appointment with a CAPS counselor.
