Why Am I A Peer Counselor
My hope as a peer counselor is to make a positive impact on our community at Michigan, and help students find the support they are looking for. The role of communication in mental health is incredibly powerful. I know firsthand how helpful it can be to listened to and empathized with. I feel very grateful to have the opportunity to, hopefully, bring some comfort to my peers that are struggling.
