Approach to Therapy:
My approach to therapy is holistic and non-judgmental, emphasizing the integration of mind and body in order to strengthen mental power, reduce stress, and improve quality of life. I aim to create a safe, collaborative environment that allows for growth and development over time. I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based, client-centered approach, which includes Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Approach to Wellness:
My personal approach to wellness is adventurous and exploratory. I enjoy connecting with nature, trying new forms of movement, and discovering new projects in the arts.
I especially enjoy being near plants and animals, going on walks, listening to world music in various languages, painting, reading, and puzzles. Keeping in regular contact with the older members of my family overseas also helps to keep me balanced.
