Approach to Therapy:
Therapy is all about collaboration; my job isn't to force you in any direction but to understand where you are now and help you get where you want to be. I provide an integrative approach rooted in person-centered and multicultural-feminist theories, focusing on the needs of each client. I strive to provide a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. I aim to facilitate your personal growth through empathy, genuineness, active listening, and reflection.
Approach to Wellness:
I strive to balance work, school, and personal life through various activities that allow me to move my body, connect with friends, and fill my cup to be present in all my roles. I play recreational sports weekly, including volleyball, basketball, and kickball. Then, when my body says, "that's enough," I spend time relaxing at home with my animals or practicing stillness through meditation and yoga (or becoming one with my couch and watching baking shows).
