Approach to Therapy:
My approach to therapy is multicultural, intersectional feminist, empowerment-based, and collaborative. In addition to exploring thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns, I emphasize building up support systems and access to resources.
Approach to Wellness:
One of my greatest passions is curiosity and continuous learning. I enjoy cycling and swimming. I enjoy spending time with beloved family, and chosen family.
Supervisory Style:
My supervision style is collaborative, strengths-based, feminist, and psychodynamic. My supervision style strongly focuses on ethical considerations and includes skills building for the emotional self of the therapist, countertransference, frame-setting, scheduling, and professional development. I collaborate with my supervisees around our shared and differing identities, building strong networks of support and advocacy.
