National Eating Disorders Awareness Week

National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAwareness Week) is February 21 - 27. NEDAwareness Week aims to educate about the realities of eating disorders and provide hope, support, and visibility. This year's theme is See the Change, Be the Change and recognizes change within the eating disorders field and encourages advocacy, awareness, and community building. In honor of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, CAPS is offering a three-session virtual Body Image workshop. Join us on March 11, 18, and 25 from 1-2:30 pm to explore your body image and challenge the cultural messages that appearance should fit within a narrow set of "ideals" that exclude diverse bodies based on race, gender, sexuality, and ability. For questions or to RSVP for the zoom link, email Jessica Cao ([email protected]) or Patty O'Malley ([email protected]).
