Sometimes...therapists have to dance. Dance has both physical and mental health benefits. It can reduce stress, diminish depression, communicate feelings, increase energy levels, help you feel connected to peers, and more.
UM CAPS is committed to the journey of psychological well-being for our students. One of the ways we can accomplish this is by making sure we, as a staff, are also engaging in wellness and well-being activities. Dance can be one way of improving overall well-being, strengthening connection with one another, and providing space to sprinkle humor into full and demanding work schedules. For these reasons, some UM CAPS staff have created a series of #Dancingtherapists videos.
