Approach to Therapy:
I seek to develop an open and trusting relationship during treatment. I take a person-centered approach to therapy focusing on the needs and goals of the individual as the therapeutic journey evolves. I strive to understand the diversity of client needs, respecting the cultural and personal values that influence choices, behaviors, and well-being. I work to provide a safe space for therapeutic engagement, reflection, and discovery to promote self-exploration and develop coping skills.
Approach to Wellness:
Wellness is multidimensional and includes all the pieces of ourselves. Finding balance among the pieces of my life is key to my wellness and mental health. I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as a few moments on my own. Traveling, whether near or far, renews my spirit and opens my mind. I also enjoy creating and reflecting while reading, writing, and storytelling.
Supervisory Style:
My supervisory style encourages a collaborative environment in which there is mutual respect, support, team work, and open communication. I strive to support my team and make myself available to assist. I also respect the expertise of others and enjoy the consultation process to increase my knowledge and skills.
