Approach to Therapy:
Within a therapeutic relationship I view the client as the expert and provide guidance to best support the people I work with. I enjoy cognitive-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy to name a few.
Approach to Wellness:
I believe that there is a strong connection between mind and body. As such, I feel it is important to have some form of movement each day, nourish the body, and take space for reflection. There is not a single thing that makes for wellness, but rather many things that we do to support ourselves and each other.
Supervisory Style:
My supervisory style is developmental, collaborative, and supportive. I strive to provide supervisees the support and encouragement they need to trust their judgements, while also feeling safe to share topics or areas where they may need additional support and guidance. The supervisory relationship is of utmost importance when helping to facilitate professional growth.
