My approach to therapy can be described as integrative, with a foundation in relational-cultural therapy. Additionally, spirituality, religion, and faith are incorporated into the counseling process if the client shows interest. The goal is to tailor each session to the client while providing a collaborative and culturally responsive environment.
Approach to Wellness:
Wellness should be seen as a valuable part of one’s schedule. Although things can feel overwhelming at times, it is always nice to engage in something that you enjoy. I enjoy cooking, participating in or attending artistic events, reading, and antiquing, just to name a few. I always try to add something new to the list.
