Approach to Therapy:
I use integrative approaches to therapy -- drawing from Cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, family systems, mind-body -- to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and change long-standing behavioral patterns on their own. I work collaboratively with clients to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment, and I empower clients through an increasing awareness and exploration of personal and professional issues. I take a holistic approach and focus on growing resiliency through a strengths-based approach that is appropriate and unique to the client’s needs.
Approach to Wellness:
My self-care includes spending time with my family, extended family, and friends, and I keep fit by working out, especially yoga, running and hiking. I am fascinated by human minds, their experiences, and how cultures shape the way that people experiences life. Therefore, I enjoy meeting new people, traveling around the world with my family, and learning about different cultures and foods. I strive to live a mindful life through reflection, self-exploration, and education. In my free time I enjoy reading, learning new skills, and exploring arts.
