Approach to Therapy:
My approach to therapy is to help students understand their thoughts and feelings, and how their thoughts and feelings are impacting their lives. Through a collaborative effort, I work with students to help them understand the underlying causes influencing what they are experiencing and how to use that understanding to bring meaningful change to their lives. Central to this is understanding each person's story and their lived experience so that a deeper appreciation of the richness of each person's life can inform the therapeutic work.
Approach to Wellness:
My approach to personal wellness is to spend time in mediation and reflection to make sure I stay centered and connected to myself. I also enjoy reading, attending the theatre, spending time with loved ones, and always finding the humour in everyday life.
