Approach to Therapy:
My approach to therapy is interpersonal and relational. I collaborate with clients to create a therapeutic environment filled with warmth, compassion, curiosity and humor. I value techniques that take into consideration both the mind and body. I encourage clients to engage in present moment practices as resources for finding relief, connection and meaning. This includes exploring skills and practices in relaxation, imagery and mindfulness. I hope to provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients can have space to explore their areas of concern.
Approach to Wellness:
I enjoy spending time outdoors, taking canoe trips, riding my bike and playing with my dog. I also love watching and playing sports. It’s important to find ways to relax that are also restorative. I’ve found that I enjoy quiet moments of reflection and reconnection with family and friends.
