Approach to Therapy:
My work is grounded in relational and strengths-based approaches, and I draw from cognitive-behavioral and acceptance-based therapies. I strive to establish trust and safety with students so we can collaboratively identify goals and speak openly about their concerns. I explore identities, relationships, and values within an intersectional, cultural context with students. My goal is for students to find their voice and agency so they can develop new perspectives and strategies that feel authentic and workable.
Approach to Wellness:
My approach to wellness is a balance of activity and rest. I feel re-energized by hiking and playing team sports, while I also make sure to find quiet moments watching TV or reading. I enjoy spending time connecting with friends and family as much as possible.
