Why Am I a Peer Counselor: As a peer counselor, I am here to support students of all identities and backgrounds through anything they are experiencing. By providing a welcoming and empathic space, my goal is for individuals to feel accepted as their authentic selves while navigating the circumstances of college life together. Thanks to my experience in Wolverine Support Network, I have discovered the importance of peer support and hope to reciprocate a similar feeling of connection and the ability for all with whom I meet to feel truly seen, heard, validated, and supported.
