Why Am I a Peer Counselor: I've always taken an interest in mental health and I understand how important a healthy mind is to one's success and happiness. As a Peer Counselor, I want to contribute to the overall improvement of mental health of the UM student body by listening to individuals' stories and concerns. Through this opportunity, I hope to let students know that their struggles matter and that they have someone to talk to.
