Approach to Therapy:
My approach to therapy involves creating a safe and brave space to discuss those areas of concerns that have been deemed taboo by society and/or are difficult to discuss with friends and family. I invite the humans I work with to give themselves permission to “take off the mask” and embrace their vulnerable self. I utilize the following therapeutic modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Schema Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
Approach to Wellness:
I enjoy spending quality time with the people that I love. I am a homebody and enjoy the calm and stillness that life rarely offers. I also enjoy watching spoken word poetry, reading, taking naps, eating a sweet treat, and watching a good movie.
