Why Am I a Peer Counselor: I am a Peer Counselor because I enjoy connecting with individuals and supporting them on their mental health journeys. I believe dedicating time to discuss issues of concern or just daily life is a therapeutic necessity that should be available to all. As a Peer Counselor, my goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgemental space in which individuals feel accepted and are comfortable seeking support.
