A three session brief treatment group focusing on understanding the nature of anxiety, learning strategies to manage anxiety, and developing coping skills that fit for you. This group is scheduled multiple times during the semester. If you are interested in joining this brief treatment group, please reach out to CAPS to schedule an initial consultation (IC) appointment and express interest to your counselor during the IC.

International Student Lunch Conversation

International Student Lunch Conversation (ISLC) is a casual time and space for international students to connect with each other and talk about life as an international student in the U.S. and at U-M. ISLC is co-sponsored by the International Center. Registration is required.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a professionally and legally complex issue, not subject to a thorough explanation in a few sentences. Usually, information that a student shares with her/his counselor/therapist in the course of a counseling session will be treated as confidential material. Treating information confidentially means not releasing it to anyone outside the agency without the student's permission.
