Approach to Therapy:
My approach to therapy is inspired by my background as a yoga and mindfulness teacher. I enjoy incorporating aspects of CBT and DBT in my therapeutic approach with the goal of working with the client determine which therapeutic process is most effective for them. I also like to incorporate embodiment techniques to help clients identify and work through trauma and traumatic events.
Approach to Wellness:
I believe pursuing activities we love helps contribute to our emotional and physical health. I practice yoga and try to keep a regular meditation routine. My family and I love to exercise (running, swimming, biking). My husband and I enjoy driving on racetracks and teaching performance driving throughout the summer. One of my favorite things to do with clients is determine how I can contribute to their pursuit of what brings them joy.
