Approach to Therapy:
I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness based stress reduciton (MBSR), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help students build skills and understanding to empower them to master life’s challenges, explore their identity, discover resources, and support their success as students and individuals.
Approach to Wellness:
I believe that a holistic approach to wellness is essential to be "leaders at their best". When one part of us is not well, other parts have to work twice as hard. My approach to wellness is to balance my time spending time with friends and family, cooking delicious and healthy meals to share, exploring the outdoors, and working on projects that I am passionate about.
