Every Fall Semester: Managing Your Emotions
In this 8-week supportive, Mindfulness-based, educational group you will learn practical, empowering skills to better manage intense, painful emotions such as anxiety, frustration, sadness, fear, anger and hurt. Though no one can make painful emotions disappear, you can learn skills to understand them better, to reduce your emotional suffering, and to greatly improve your quality of life!
Every Winter Semester: Healthy Communication Skills
If you feel too sensitive to what others say, too passive or too aggressive at times, this group can help. You can learn to lessen the intensity of your feelings, and to balance emotion with rational thinking. You will learn skills to improve how you react to and interact with others, so that you are more likely to obtain the outcomes you desire. These skills will help you improve the quality of your relationships, your self-esteem, and your overall quality of life.
