The Outreach and Education Interns participate in the following activities:
- Attend Outreach and Education bi-weekly seminar
- Contribute to CAPS social media presence
- Facilitate presentations (requested by students, faculty, and staff) each semester
- Become familiar with health related campus resources and referral procedures
- Consult and assist Coordinator of Liaisons Services
- Actively represent and work CAPS tabling events throughout the year
- Help to coordinate CAPS Play Days on North Campus
- Assist with CAPS outreach campaigns (TBD)
- The Outreach and Education Intern is in charge of one ongoing year-long outreach needs assessment/project around a specific topic or targeting a specific campus community.
- Interns choose their own project but must consult with a supervisor to get approval, and discuss details around evaluation, conceptualization and implementation
- Interns will receive ongoing supervision on project and receive support and materials as needed
