CAPS would like to extend our support and condolences to all of those effected  by the horrific terrorist attacks that have occurred in recent weeks.  As details continue to emerge about the bombings in Brussels, we want to offer our sympathies to those who have been impacted.

Sadly, the attacks come in light of recent tragedies in Turkey, Egypt and Iraq. We also want to recognize the events taking place in Syria and the psychological toll to all who experience countless acts of violence.

We realize that many members of our Michigan family are directly or indirectly impacted by these tragic events and other seemingly endless acts of terror. As a global community, it is important for us to come together and offer support to one another in the realization that we are all connected. It is common to experience a range of emotions from fear, sadness, anxiety, and helplessness to uncertainty and anger.

During this time, we encourage you to reach out and extend support to others as we all come together to cope with these horrific tragedies. The staff at CAPS is available to meet with any student who may need to talk about their reactions to these events.
