Do something and Play

Engaging in play is often effortless and exciting, and we may lose awareness of self and sense of time while deeply engaged in play. This loss of self-awareness is referred to as a "flow" state.

We have made a few brief tutorials on how to make a balloon dog and how to make and spin poi to show you how some members of the CAPS staff like to play.

When is the last time you have lost a sense of time or self-awareness in an activity?

Because play is so beneficial to achieving positive mood states, we want to encourage you to incorporate play into your everyday routine.

Make a commitment to take time to play this week, and observe how it impacts your mood, stress levels and overall wellbeing!

What could you do in 5 minutes a day to play?
