CAPS Spring/Summer groups are open to students who are enrolled for the spring/summer semester and for graduate students with continuous enrollment. Most groups require a pre-group meeting with the group facilitator(s). Suicide Loss Survivor Support Group
This group is meant for family and loved ones who have lost someone to suicide. This group will meet weekly to address the experience of traumatic grief, stigma, and difficulty losing someone to suicide may cause. This group strives to create a supportive atmosphere where members can share their experiences and learn about grief response.

An interpersonal process group for undergraduate students who want to explore personal growth and gain awareness to enhance their functioning in personal and academic settings; have concerns about important relationships in their life; need more support or want to be supportive of others; and want time to explore feelings and thoughts in a collaborative environment fostering healthy self-concepts and hope for the future through a sense of shared experiences.

#AnxietyToolbox Brief Treatment Group
A three session brief treatment group focusing on understanding the nature of anxiety, learning strategies to manage anxiety, and developing coping skills that fit for you. This group is scheduled multiple times during the semester. If you are interested in joining this brief treatment group, please reach out to CAPS to schedule an initial consultation (IC) appointment and express interest to your counselor during the IC.
Conquering Social Anxiety
Members will understand why they experience social anxiety, learn social anxiety reduction strategies and communication skills. The weekly group is skills based, process, and inclusive.
